Amalthea Fingering

Amalthea is a luscious two-ply fingering-weight yarn, 80% superwash Merino, 10% cashmere, and 10% nylon, 400 yards per 100 gram skein. Amalthea has a high twist for extra durability. Hand-wash in warm water (105F/40C or less) with a gentle wool wash, lay flat or block to dry. Machine washing and drying are not recommended. Some bleeding may occur on the first washing, especially with bright colors.

Bronze Age Fingering

Bronze Age is a fingering-weight yarn, 75% superwash merino wool, 20% nylon, and 5% bronze-colored Stellina, 438 yards per 100 gram skein. Hand-wash in cool water with a gentle wool wash, lay flat or block to dry. Some bleeding may occur on the first washing, especially with bright colors.

Centaur Sock

Centaur Sock is a fingering-weight yarn, 80% superwash wool and 20% nylon, 400 yards per 100 gram skein. Hand-wash in cool water with a gentle wool wash, lay flat or block to dry. Some bleeding may occur on the first washing, especially with bright colors.

Centaur Sparkle (Fingering and DK)

Centaur Sparkle is 75% superwash wool, 20% nylon, 5% silver-toned Stellina, 231 yards per 100 gram skein for DK and 438 yards per 100 gram skein for fingering. (The Stellina is a very fine sparkly fiber; it’s not prickly at all.) Hand-wash in warm water (105F/40C or less) with a gentle wool wash, lay flat or block to dry. Machine washing and drying are not recommended. Some bleeding may occur on the first washing, especially with bright colors.

Centaur Worsted

Centaur Worsted is 100% superwash merino wool, about 218 yards per 100-gram skein. Hand-wash in warm water (105F/40C or less) with a gentle wool wash, lay flat or block to dry. Machine washing and drying are not recommended. Some bleeding may occur on the first washing, especially with bright colors.

Gemini DK

Gemini DK is a DK (double-knit) yarn, 100% superwash bluefaced Leicester wool, 246 yards per 100-gram skein. Hand-wash in warm water (105F/40C or less) with a gentle wool wash, lay flat or block to dry. Machine washing and drying are not recommended. Some bleeding may occur on the first washing, especially with bright colors.

Mallibou Fingering

Mallibou combines the silky drape of bamboo and the luster of genuine British blue-faced Leicester wool for a yarn with a deep and subtle glow and a beautiful sheen. Mallibou is deliciously squishy, and soft enough to wear next to the skin. There are 437 yards in this 100-gram skein. Hand-wash in warm water (105F/40C or less) with a gentle wool wash, lay flat or block to dry. Machine washing and drying are not recommended. Some bleeding may occur on the first washing, especially with bright colors.

Merino/Silk Top

This is 100 grams of top in a luscious 70% Merino wool, 30% silk blend. Hand-wash in warm water (105F/40C or less) with a gentle wool wash, lay flat or block to dry. Machine washing and drying are not recommended. Some bleeding may occur on the first washing, especially with bright colors.

Mares’ Tails Laceweight

Mares’ Tails is a laceweight yarn, 875 yards per 100-gram skein. It’s 55% superwash blue-faced Leicester wool and 45% silk.

Pegasus Fingering

Pegasus is a soft and sumptuous yak-blend yarn, which when undyed is a softly marled warm grey-brown oatmealy color. It’s a three-ply fingering-weight yarn, 20% yak, 70% superwash Merino wool, and 10% nylon, 437 yards per 100 gram skein. Hand-wash in warm water (105F/40C or less) with a gentle wool wash, lay flat or block to dry. Machine washing and drying are not recommended. Some bleeding may occur on the first washing, especially with bright colors.

Percheron Bulky

Percheron is a solid workhorse of a yarn! It’s a sturdy and slinky bulky-weight superwash Merino, 106 yards per 100 gram skein. Hand-wash in warm water (105F/40C or less) with a gentle wool wash, lay flat or block to dry. Machine washing and drying are not recommended. Some bleeding may occur on the first washing, especially with bright colors.

Pima Cotton Fingering

Pima Cotton is a lustrous four-ply fingering-weight yarn, 100% Pima cotton, 437 yards per 100 gram skein. Hand-wash at or below 36C/96.8F and dry flat; do not dry clean, bleach, wring out, or hang to dry.  Iron at low temperatures.

Slightly Silky Fingering

Slightly Silky is fingering weight, 80% superwash merino wool and 20% silk, about 400 yards per 100-gram skein. The silk gives it a subtle shine and a soft drape. Hand-wash in warm water (105F/40C or less) with a gentle wool wash, lay flat or block to dry. Machine washing and drying are not recommended. Some bleeding may occur on the first washing, especially with bright colors.

Thoroughbred Fingering

Thoroughbred is a four-ply fingering-weight yarn, 75% Merino wool and 25% nylon, with a slightly crisper feel than Centaur Sock. 463 yards per 100-gram skein, 231 yards per 50-gram half skein, or 87 yards per 20-gram mini skein. Hand-wash in warm water (105F/40C or less) with a gentle wool wash, lay flat or block to dry. Machine washing and drying are not recommended. Some bleeding may occur on the first washing, especially with bright colors.

Tightly Wound Fingering

Tightly Wound is a high-twist fingering-weight yarn, 80% superwash bluefaced Leicester and 20% nylon, 400 yards per 100 gram skein. Urcuchillay Fingering

Urcuchillay is a luxurious fingering-weight yarn, 40% Merino wool, 40% baby llama, and 20% nylon, 414 yards per 100 gram skein. Worsted Warhorse

Worsted Warhorse is our only non-superwash base! It’s a hearty worsted-weight merino wool, 281 yards per 100-gram skein. Because it’s non-superwash, it can be used for felted (fulled) projects. Hand-wash in warm water (105F/40C or less) with a gentle wool wash, lay flat or block to dry. DO NOT machine wash or dry this yarn unless you want it to felt! Some bleeding may occur on the first washing, especially with bright colors.
